Description

Take the non-traditional route when making your next batch of tuna salad. This recipe for No Mayo Tuna Salad will tantalize every single tastebud. It’s super easy to prepare. Use high-quality ingredients for the perfect bite. Creamy white beans adds an unexpected level of richness and creaminess. 


Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 cans albacore tuna in olive oil, drained and rinsed slightly
  • 1 stalk celery, thinly sliced
  • 1/3 C celery leaves, chopped
  • 1 TBLS red onion, minced
  • 1 small green chili pepper, minced
  • juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 1 1/2 TBLS olive oil
  • 1 TBLS dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 TBLS golden balsamic vinegar
  • 1/2 C cannellini beans, rinsed and drained

Instructions

  1. Drain tuna from the can. Give it a quick rinse. Drain. Place in a large bowl.
  2. Add the remaining salad ingredients, except for the beans. Mix well. Taste for salt.
  3. Gently fold in the beans. Taste again for salt. See note in post.
