you would be welcome and i intend to build a visitors cabin for privacy but when i get out there i will have extra bedding available for visitors until i get that project done. I’m not a kook i’ve been a nurse for 38 years and just need peace and wildlife……deborah RN

I have a cabin in the rockies…the closest town is Fort Collins 30 acres i want to retire to soon because it is the most tranquil and inspiring place to sit outside at night and watch the stars in the sky and listen to the wolves and cyotes in the summer. I just have to figure out how to so upgrade it so that i would have electric and water..I got by with my woodstove and kerosene lanters but it would be watch t.v. which is important to my husband but he doesn’t have much time left in life and has never been there..it is my place of peace and nature I want to spend my remaining life there…this is meant to be a positive change!!!

Now that is an exciting visitor indeed! For the 10 or so years I’ve had my eyes open (and in the 19 years I’ve lived in the West), I’ve still never seen any of our feline neighbors. Thanks for the post, and enjoy being “in a Conundrum” soon.

I have neighbors like yours! The lack of snow has kept the elk up a little higher this year, but the coyotes have put together an evening choir.
